It's almost here

For the past few weeks things have been changing around town. This road is closed, you can't park there, the sea of blue jackets from the Olympic volunteers. It's hard to believe after years of preparing for the Olympics that the time is almost here. Looking at the countdown clock, we are down to two hands.

Akis and I walked through the downtown spectacle thinking it would be good to see it before the world arrives. Unfortunately the camera wasn't fully charged, so we are going to need to return.

At Robson Square where they have revived the outdoor rink ~ yes, they clean the ice with a hose, no zamboni here...
