The Torch

Friday was the final day of torch relay. With only a half a day until the relay was over, the torch was to pass just in front of our office. Akis met me at the office and we headed down to view the flame. Unfortunately we didn't quite get there in time and ended up chasing a train to get the photo!



After missing a chance to absorb the moment, we wandered to seawall. While we waited in the Vancouver drizzle, we saw the paddlers warming up and a young supporter with his flame. The spirit has definitely arrived.





The flame left Granville Island by boat and was taken across the water to Yaletown where it had a few more legs until it rested to the Opening Ceremony. We took in the boat We didn't take the camera with the zoom, so the photos aren't ideal, but hey you get the idea.
