A family reunion....
They Koutrakos family has 2 sons, both of which are Seaman. Kyriakos works on a local Greek line, however spends all summer wisking people around the Greek Isles. Akis was subject to the schedule as provided by Celebrity, and didn't always have the winters off. As such, it has been almost 3 years since the whole family has been together. Lunch marked the first time all 4 of them were together in the finished part of their parent's home. As such, it was a pretty special day.
Kyriakos was able to get 10 days off when a former Celebrity ship ran into their ship (a Louis ship by the name of Pearl) and managed to shear the supports for the life rafts. This happened as someone was docking and within 5 hrs, the ship was getting ready to head out for an emergency Dry Dock. We couldn't believe his luck, but also thought, hey why couldn't this have happened 2 weeks later so he could come to the wedding....
To mark the 'reunion', Kyriakos was quite keen to take photos... Here was the first one.
After noticing that everyone was sporting the 'half dressed' look, Kyriakos told everyone to go and dress, including dad. Yes, here is the second photo ~ exactly the same, only people aren't naked!

Kyriakos spent most of the time arranging people so that he could get the 'perfect' shot. I had to laugh as Mom was hanging off the coat rack, this was not acceptable and he moved folks around. Yes, that is Akis killing himself laughing as his brother is running around to get the best shot.
It was a good day and I'm sure that Mom and Dad were happy to have both boys home, even if it was just for the day. It has been a long time coming!
