Cabo San Lucas
Our final stop on the Canal Cruise was in Cabo. It is one of the Mexican ports which is quite clean and is in an incredible state of growth. Last time I was there was about a year ago and it was amazing to see the amount of change. They have built a new pier for the tenders, they have landscaped all of the land around the marina and have built a number of buildings that last year was just a barren hill...
In true Carrie form, when we arrived in Cabo, I didn't pay attention to our departure time. When Akis and I left the ship, we were the only ones on the Tender. It seemed a bit odd, but hey, we had a cool ride in on the local Tender and the guys even let us drive the boat. As it turns out, we only had an hour or so there which was a shame as there are a number of restaurants and cool places to hang out drinking you $2 Coronas.
