Huatulco, Mexico
Pronounced 'Wa-tule-co', this was another small port, where the ship dominates the skyline when docked. The beaches are a bit clearer but still very warm, so the refreshing splash in the ocean doesn't quite give you the lift that I am used to. I had forgotten that about the beaches here.
We wandered onto the beach and sunned ourselves for a bit. With SPF30, Akis complained that he wasn't getting any colour. That was until that night when we were back in the cabin and it was apparent where he didn't get complete coverage with the sunscreen. I would hate to see him without any on. The sunning was followed by lunch at one of the 'local, on the beach' restaurants. Akis not being a fan of spicy food and thus, Mexican not being his favourite, we managed to find something that he was OK with eating.

After lunch we wandered the one street which was literally a block long to the non-souvenir store ~ where Akis 'found' the ice cream bin. It was so good he had to go back for seconds.
A cute place, but can't say it is somewhere I would rush back to see....
